Part 1 - Mother, Will You Share This Dance With Me?
/Mother, Will You Share This Dance With Me?
Mother, my beautiful, wise Mother.
OH how I love thee.
My heart beats with sister and brother,
Will you share this dance with me?
Through great turmoil, it is your love that anchors me.
Here in this temporal sandbox your essence is entwined,
Singing, laughing, loving, playing, growing, evolving.
I hear you in the birds, the crickets, the cicadas,
Proudly displaying your brilliance,
Singing, chirping, buzzing to the sacred rhythm of Life.
And we, your children, are all fragments of you,
Unique personalities swaying with the music as notes on the fabric of divination,
Tuning ourselves to the Grand Orchestra of Creation.
Mother, my beautiful, wise Mother.
OH how I love thee.
My heart beats with sister and brother,
Will you share this dance with me?
Your children have lost their way from your Heart,
And they have distanced themselves from your song,
But there are some who are faithful yet, so let us rejoice once again.
I see you in the trees, the bees, and the flowers,
Performing your sacred dance for all to see,
And I cannot help but wonder…why can’t they see what I see?
You caress me, inspire me, empower me, and nourish me,
And I gladly embrace your love for all eternity,
For in all of Creation, you are my greatest inspiration to be.
Mother, my beautiful, wise Mother.
OH how I love thee.
My heart beats with sister and brother,
Will you share this dance with me?
You feed my imagination; you replenish my passion,
Loving unconditionally as you strengthen my will,
As I defend you, protect you, and preserve the Sacred Feminine.
I feel you in the grass as I stare up at the sky,
And my creative mind asks so tenderly,
Is it the blue of the sky that actually moves
And the clouds billow my head to their soft pillows?
Your emanations are all around this earthly realm,
And your daughters carry your love to the helm
As the creative architects of humanity.
Mother, my beautiful, wise Mother.
OH how I love thee.
My heart beats with sister and brother,
Will you share this dance with me?
I grow upwards just as the trees reach up for light evermore,
Basking in the rays of effervescent timelessness
So I may return home to your nurturing bosom.
I dream of you in the landscape of my mind,
Guiding me in the moves of the Waltz as I step on your toes,
While reassuring me that I am beautiful just as I am.
And so I tether my Heart to yours,
And anchor myself to the rhythmic machinations of divine beauty,
So I may spread your love through hill and valley.
Mother, my beautiful, wise Mother.
OH how I love thee.
My heart beats with sister and brother,
Will you share this dance with me?
