Community Gardens = Community Strength

Food is what brings us all together, and when everybody gets involved in growing food on some level, the spiritual bonds that connect us deepen and help us remember how we are all one global family.

Growing food should never be placed in the hands of a few because it only creates a disconnection for everybody else who only know their food on grocery shelves.

Growing food as a community inspires and motivates us to depend on one another for community well-being, while also strengthening our independence with the know-how to provide for ourselves and our families.

If everybody grew something, then trading and bartering for other items becomes easier and more satisfying.

In alignment with the Divine Plan

Growing food teaches us the power and importance of Humility as a divine virtue.

There is nothing more humble and rewarding than tending to and nurturing a plant all the way to maturity. It also teaches us patience, gratitude, and hard work.

Growing food is just like our soul being planted in this earthly realm to be cultivated through knowledge, wisdom, and experience as engage in all matters of spiritual development and growth.

We strengthen our connection to Mother, who gives us sustenance through both physical food and spiritual nourishment from the heart.

Abundance, and a Human Right

Food is a necessity for us to have a healthy, human experience, and it absolutely is a RIGHT for every person to have access to healthy, organic food.

The future world will look much different than what we see now, as there will be no existence of governments, regulations, corporations, money, or anything to control or shape how we interact with our planet.

It will just be us as one global family lending our time and energy into producing food, and ensuring that every single person will have everything that they need.

How is Agrarianism in alignment with the three ROOTS of the Tree of Life…?

NATURAL LAW

Surely you have heard of the proverb “Give a man a fish and feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime.”

The profundity of this proverb stems from the empowerment one receives through self-sufficiency. When one knows how to grow food, then one is giving themselves the ultimate gift of independence. When one relies on others to feed them, then they are essentially giving those individuals power over their well-being and the well-being of their families.

With something as important as food, a human necessity, placing full control of food production in the hands of others can lead to destructive consequences. If those growing food are no longer able to grow, then what is one to do? Even worse, if food production is placed in the hands of the State (the existence of a State is already in opposition to Natural Law), then one is essentially vulnerable to their dictates. What is given can easily be taken away if one does not comply with their Man-made laws.

Food independence is entwined with sovereignty. Having the knowledge and ability to grow food for one’s self, one’s family, and one’s community is an act of Love and empowerment.

MUTUALISM

Growing food is the most spiritually grounded practice that any living soul can learn. It teaches one the value of hard work, patience, responsibility, and accountability. Additionally, it naturally creates a sense of emotional fortitude, because in order for seeds to grow into healthy plants, they need a lot of tender love and care.

The human soul can be thought of as a seed, which is represented by the Seed of Life symbol. Every one of us is connected to the Tree of Life, with each of us a part of the whole. When the soul learns life lessons and gains wisdom through experience, it turns into the Flower of Life symbol. And finally, when a soul takes action and begins to teach others about Natural Law, Mutualism, and Traditional Ecological Knowledge, then such sharing of wisdom turns into the Fruit of Life. Thus, we initiate the process of rebirth through the dispersion of pollen (wisdom) for other seeds (souls) to follow the same path.

This is how the Tree of Life flourishes giving us a healthy planet and the best chances for harmonious evolution. The growing of food as the staple of our lifestyle as one human family grounds us in this spiritual practice, connecting us to one another and the planet.

TRADITIONAL ECOLOGICAL KNOWLEDGE

Because plants require a lot of tender love and care to grow, there is a pre-requisite amount of knowledge that one needs about plant anatomy, physiology, life cycle, and temperament. Furthermore, one needs to understand factors such as soil quality and composition, weather patterns, seasonal cycles, as well as all other factors that the local ecosystem embodies.

Indigenous peoples have for thousands of years learned how to adapt and integrate with their local ecosystems harmoniously, and thanks to modern science, we now know all about the different nutrients that specific plants need. Modern science is most effective when integrated with Traditional Ecological Knowledge, because the indigenous perspective of recognizing patterns within ecosystems helps us understand what factors contribute to plant health and diversity.

The recognition of Life Force within plants cannot be wholly analyzed by modern science, but the sophistication and intelligence of plants has always been honored and respected by indigenous cultures. The indigenous perspective is the piece of the puzzle that will ultimately allow us to form a strong and nurturing relationship with the plants we grow for food.
